i am having an issue when trying to open a new drawing after purging from a previous installation. i installed version 6.1.0.0 and after a successful install, the next time i attempted to open a drawing, the workspace was not open and i had to close it and reopen it. i am now running 7.0 and am trying to open a drawing after a purge and everytime i open a new drawing, the workspace is not open. i have to close the workspace and reopen it. any ideas? i am running autocad lt.
thanks for your support. i have a hard time using these tools, as my company is very conservative, and i have to explain to them that i'm trying to remove legacy apps from their computers. they take so long to do so and they're so slow, that i think they'd rather i did not use them. i cannot use the previous version because it has different dependencies. i cannot use any of the newer versions because they are incompatible with my version of autocad. i'm hoping that this tool will help me to resolve that issue. i have to use arcgis and microstation, as well as a few other legacy apps. thank you for your time.
